First in my immigrant family to graduate college

I am a first generation American whose parents immigrated to the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC from Québec, Canada. I was the first in my family to get into and graduate college (University of Maryland, go Terps!)

With my BS in Computer Science in hand, I started my corporate career in IT at a major global hospitality company.

After a few years, I wanted more than coding on green screens (yes, the old IBM green screen) so I steadily moved to the people side of business.

From Consultant to Coach

I moved to Seattle in 2001 and emerged from the dot com meltdown as a management consultant. I absolutely loved going from client to client, helping them with one gnarly challenge after another.

It took me a while to realize that I wanted to have a more direct, tangible impact in my work.  I discovered my true passion was helping others burst through what held them back.

I loved doing this so much that I became an ICF-certified professional coach.
