A Skittle factory. A monkey. Your mindset.

Every now and then, I come across something so strange and specific that it loops back around to profound.

Yes, that’s the actual title.

It’s an absurdist, darkly funny, deeply weird ride through what happens when our thought loops harden into identity—especially as we age.

And underneath the viral monkey boobs and factory metaphors, there’s a clear, almost sobering insight:

You don’t become someone different over time—you become more of what you’ve practiced being.

That includes how you respond to failure. Risk. Possibility. Creativity. Doubt.

This is the kind of thing I help clients untangle in coaching: the loops they don’t even know they’re running, until they hit the limits of their own operating system. This piece explores that idea—just with more GIFs and monkeys than I typically use.

⚠️ Fair warning:
The tone is edgy. The humor is dark. It veers from thoughtful to completely unhinged. I skimmed a few sections.
