What to Expect
Corporate life makes it way too easy to disregard your body and your spirit.
How often do you skip lunch because of all your back to back meetings? Or, opened up your laptop after dinner to catch up on your to do list?
You likely feel the weight of constantly masking your emotions to make it through the day.
All of this takes a huge toll on your body and spirit.
I discovered yoga and meditation about 14 years ago at a time in my management consulting career when I was burnt out.
After completing my first class, I was hooked. I realized after a few months of practicing that I had been craving to reconnect to my body.
I’ve recovered from all that, mostly, by learning whole body practices and practical neuroscience-based techniques to reconnect to my body and spirit.
Now, I make these practices central to my coaching with clients.
How does this help you with starting your business?
When you start thinking and planning your business, you’ll gravitate towards answering the nuts and bolts questions: your ideal customer, your offers, your business model, your branding, and so on.
But, what about what keeps you going: your motivation? your vision? your creative energy?
In my journey, I learned that coming back to my body, coming back to presence helped me reconnect to my intuition, my creativity, and my passion.
You’ll need to do this too as you embark on creating a new business.
Transitioning out of the corporate setting usually requires a detox period. It really does take a toll.
I offer these practices and techniques to you so you can reconnect to what is most important to you: your intentions and your passions.
You’ll turn to these internal resources again and again as you build a business that works for you.
And, you will always have the option to take what works for you and let go of what doesn’t.
You bring your whole self when you create a business.
Sometimes other aspects of your life will pop up that threaten to knock you off track.
Through my work, I’ve learned a lot of techniques and approaches that help on a wide range of topics.
I’m able to support you on topics like relationships, leadership, time management, attitudes about money, and much more.
I want to be clear that I am not a therapist. And, I won’t try to fix you because you aren’t broken.
We won’t spend any time digging into your past to figure out why you are the way you are.
Our work together is to get you through the challenges that come up using mindset practices and other tools so you can create and build the business you want.
